Enterprise Mobility Mobility is now being driven in to all facets of the enterprise, from notebooks to handhelds to small device sensors that communicate with the enterprise information system, as well as mobile client devices for ads and coupon redemption. This panel will bring together executives to discuss how mobility is being implemented and what improvements mobile and wireless make to both run the company internally and to interact with customers externally. |

“It’s a Mad, Mad, App World” How video presents challenges and opportunities in App development
How is the Apps marketplace shaping up? What might we
expect from the leading platforms - Apple iPhone, iPad (iOS) and
Google (Android)? What other forms and players might emerge?
How are apps developed? Is "indie" development possible?
What are the opportunities and hazards in developing apps?
Lessons learned in the app development trenches? Special
issues of video in these mobile environments?
Ubiquitous access to the internet has opened the door to
democratic production – witness the rise of social networking.
Social media raises the opportunity for production, and
proliferation, of applications – in the form of apps, widgets,
gizmos, etc. Whether original functions or content, or
syndicated content and services – production of applications is
now possible for all. This “snack-sizing” of applications is
changing the landscape of both consumer and enterprise systems. |
